NA President Galust Sahakyan’s Letter of Condolence on the Occasion of Vahak Hovnanian’s Death
1 / 1

The RA NA President Galust Sahakyan sent a Letter of Condolence on the occasion of the reputed businessman, public figure, philanthropist Vahak Hovnanian’s death. The Letter reads:

“I have learnt with deep heartache about the reputed businessman, public figure, philanthropist Vahag Hovnanian’s demise.

We lost a real patriot and a devoted Armenian, not only the name of which, but also his activity and lifestyle were linked to his people and Motherland. Hovnanian’s many ideas have been left undone, genuine national projects, which are the result of his searching mind and a part of his Armenian-ness.

Vahak Hovnanian was a national figure in the whole sense and content of this word, the evidence of which are his activity and manuals both in Diaspora, and in Armenia . Everywhere he was led by his nation-preserving vein, which he treated with a special dignity both as a businessman, and philanthropist and public figure. It was impossible to imagine him far and unlinked to the all-Armenian manuals.

He was honest in his intentions, in his thoughts, in his practice and in human relations, gaining great reputation and enjoying it in Diaspora , Armenia and Artsakh. He will stay in our memories like that – mixed with Homeland, devoted to people and with the warmest and sincere feelings, which would never fade away, towards them.

I truly offer my condolences to the Hovnanian’s family, relatives and friends and share their grief.

May his memory be for a blessing.
