On October 5 the RA National Assembly President Galust Sahakyan awarded a group of pedagogues from different marzes of the Republic of Armenia and Yerevan for the great contribution to the field of education on Teacher's Day. The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Artak Davtyan, as well as the RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan attended the awarding ceremony. About forty pedagogues were awarded the Memorial Medals, Letters of Appreciation and Diplomas of the National Assembly President.

Congratulating the pedagogues on the occasion of their professional day, the President of the National Assembly noted: “You represent not a profession, but a human kind which has assumed a duty before the Motherland. Educating the Armenian baby and youth you bring up a citizen, lay the bedrock of patriotism, nation loving and literacy. These awards serve as an honest evaluation of your devotion and selfless activities.” Once again congratulating the teachers, the President of the National Assembly wished them professional successes, welfare and optimism.”
