On October 21 the NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport moderated by Artak Davtyan debated the revised version of the draft laws “On Amending the RA Law on Advertisement” and “On Amending the RA Law on Television and Radio” authored by the deputy Tevan Poghosyan.
Tevan Poghosyan proposed to ban the sharp amplification of the sound mode by the advertiser during its broadcast.
The RA Deputy Minister of Healthcare Sergey Khachatryan has informed that the Ministry is for the regulation, and has noted that some wordings existing in the law should be amended.
The package was endorsed and will be included in the draft law of the agenda of October 26-29 four-day sittings.
