On October 23 the NA three Standing Committees convened sittings.

At the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs moderated by Mikael Melkumyan in the first reading debated the bill “On Amending the RA Law on State Duty,” which was submitted by the RA Deputy Minister of Economy Emil Tarasyan.

The Deputy Chairman of the Committee Mikael Melkumyan in the first reading presented the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Turnover Tax” authored by the NA deputy Vardan Ayvazyan.

The Committee endorsed the debated bills to include them in the agendas of the NA session and the upcoming four-day sittings.

The Committee members debated the programme of the RA Public Services Regulatory Commission for 2016 submitted by the Commission Chairman Robert Nazaryan.

The Chairman of the RA State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition Artak Shaboyan submitted the annual activities programme for 2016.

The bill “On Amending the RA Law on Excise Tax” was debated in the second reading.

The bill debated in the Committee and the two programmes were endorsed to be included in the draft law of the agenda of the NA upcoming four-day sittings.

By the proposal of the co-author Tevan Poghosyan the bill “On Amending the RA Law on Foreign Investments” was removed from the turnover.

The NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration and Local Self-Government moderated by Stepan Margaryan debated and endorsed the draft law “On Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements,” which submitted the RA First Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Vache Terteryan.

As a result of debate, the Committee members presented a number of recommendations.

The draft law will be included in the draft laws of the NA autumn and the upcoming four-day sittings.

The NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs moderated by Hovhannes Sahakyan debated the package of the draft laws “On Amending the RA Electoral Code” and “On Amending the RA Law on Identity Cards” authored by the NA deputies Hovhannes Sahakyan, Artak Davtyan, Gagik Minasyan and Gagik Melikyan.

The draft law “On Amending the RA Law on Registration of the Rights Towards the Property” submitted by the RA Government, presented by the Chairman of the State Committee of the Real Estate Cadastre adjunct to the RA Government Martin Sargsyan.

The draft laws with the endorsement will be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the eighth session of the NA fifth convocation and the upcoming four-day sittings.
