Galust Sahakyan's Congratulatory Message on Maternity and Beauty Day
1 / 1

The congratulatory message of the President of the RA National Assembly reads:

“Dear mothers, I congratulate you on the occasion of Maternity and Beauty Day.

Today, it is not only a festive day, but also one more day of bow to your unselfish love and devotion towards family, nation and the Motherland, due to which the family becomes home, the country - a state, the resident - a citizen and the citizen - a soldier.

Mother’s love and care, mother’s advice and blessing are the values that are not sold or lent, but we feel and keep them in the whole life, which with confidence and faith guide us along the truthful way, and because of its absence the soul and the inner world deform, often resulting in inhumane attitude, intolerance and ill-will in inter-personal and even in international and inter-state relations. The Mother’s heart feels pain for the country most of all, the way it can feel in case of her own child, at the same time, the mother’s heart most of all is concerned about those who defend the country's peace and security. Once again congratulating you on Maternity and Beauty Day, together with health, welfare and optimism, I wish you, dear mothers, that your hearts were shocked only from joy and from the good news about the country developing on the values characteristic to your families and first of all mothers.”
