Open Lesson in Parliament

On April 28, within the framework of the NA Open Doors programme the pupils and teachers of the Secondary School of Ghukasavan community visited the National Assembly. First, in the NA Session Hall they listened to the debates on the RA Draft Electoral Code, and then took part in the open lesson, which conducted the Adviser to the President of the National Assembly Hrayr Zoryan.

Hrayr Zoryan touched upon the law-making activities of the parliament, particularly talked about putting the legislative initiatives into circulation and the procedures of debating them.

Afterwards during the warm and sincere talk Hrayr Zoryan answered the questions concerning the pupils, which mainly related to the situation on Karabakh-Azerbaijani border during recent days, the perspective of Armenia’s development, as well as the choice of profession. Mr Zoryan advised them to take into consideration their preferences while choosing profession and certainly to become professional specialists.

At the end of the meeting the pupils who visited the parliament had their photo taken in the Plenary Session Hall of the National Assembly.

Let us note that the pupils accompanied by the Head of the NA Information Department Marusya Asatryan took a tour in the building of the parliament and got acquainted with the activities of the National Assembly.
