On September 14, the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan received the Director of European Friends of Armenia (EuFoA)  NGO Diogo Pinto and the Head of Yerevan Office of the Organization Hovhannes Grigoryan.

Welcoming the guests, Artak Zakaryan congratulated the Director of European Friends of Armenia NGO Diogo Pinto on the occasion of his appointment, wishing him effective work in the new position.

The Committee Chairman presented to the guest the works of the Committee, the activities of the RA NA Delegations in the European parliamentary organizations and in the formats of the European cooperation, presenting the foreign political priorities of the Republic of Armenia.

In his word Artak Zakaryan highlighted the activities of European Friends of Armenia Organization, expressing readiness to support the Office in all initiatives, which have a component of parliamentary cooperation.

In his turn, Diogo Pinto thanked the Committee for the constructive work shown before and expressed hope for further effective cooperation. Diogo Pinto also presented the upcoming programmes and plans of the organization.

The interlocutors also discussed issues regarding the implementation of the necessary programmes in the European structures on a number of issues concerning the due presentation of the NKR problem and the RA European cooperation.
