On September 15, the representatives of the civil society of the European eight countries: Germany, Romania, Moldova, Latvia, Greece, Ukraine, Italy and Bulgaria, met with the RA MP, President of the Union of School-Centers Union of Legal Entities Ruzanna Muradyan.

Welcoming the guests, the RA MP has noted that the policy pursued of our country is aimed at the development of the civil society. In that context Ruzanna Muradyan highlighted and highly assessed the visit of the civil society representatives from different countries.

The RA MP has noted that one of the important directions of the activities of the civil society representatives should be the protection of human rights. Noting that the right of human life should be protected by the whole mankind, Ruzanna Muradyan voiced the RA President’s word: “The genocide perpetrated in any corner of the world should be perceived as a failure of the whole mankind, and their prevention is the responsibility of the mankind.” The NA deputy has added that the visit to Tsisternakaberd Memorial Complex of the Armenian Genocide and the tribute to the holy martyrs’ memory is the evidence of that great idea.

The participants of the meeting emphasized the rise of the education quality in different countries, the inclusion and teaching of the true facts on genocides in the educational programmes for the condemnation and prevention of the crimes, as well as for the development of democracy.
