On October 4, at the initiative of the NA Standing Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs a closed-door debate was organized with the RA Deputy Minister of Defense- Chairman of the State Military Industry Committee of the RA Defense Ministry David Pakhchanyan on the theme The Establishment of Military-Industrial Complex and the Perspectives of Development.

In the course of the meeting the policy pursued in the military industry sphere, the events being implemented in boosting the local production and novelty were presented. The Committee members raised a number of issues regarding the military industry, the development of the information technologies, the purchase process in the defense sphere, and the modernization and provision of the armaments.
