On October 17, the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs moderated by Hovhannes Sahakyan convened an extraordinary sitting.
The deputies debated the package of the draft law on Amending the RA Electoral Code and the enclosed draft laws.
The key speaker, the Co-author of the Electoral Code, the Chief of Staff of the RA Government-Minister Davit Harutyunyan informed the deputies that conditioned by the political consent a necessity arose to again amend the Electoral Code.
It is proposed to define that during the RA NA elections as a result of the competition held by the established order of the Government, the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) lets the chosen specialized organization implement the video of the voting procedure from the polling stations and summing up process of the results and synchronous online broadcast. It is designed to archive the video materials, which will do the specialized organization.
It is also envisaged by the package that the lists of the voters who took part in the voting will be issued by the order established by the Electoral Code.
The package with the endorsement was included in the draft law of the agenda of the NA extraordinary sitting convened by the Government.
