On October 28, the delegation led by the RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov being on a working visit in the Republic of Artsakh, together with the MPs Gagik Melikyan and Karen Botoyan had a meeting with the NKR NA Speaker Ashot Ghulyan.
At the meeting the sides highlighted the necessity of the active contacts with the two Armenian parliaments.
Eduard Sharmazanov has noted that the issue of the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh problem is laid at the basis of the all Armenian parliamentarians’ work. “At all international platforms we should more actively present the essence of the NK issue, the inevitability of the complete realization of the Artsakh Armenians’ right to self-determination, as well as strictly condemn the destructive and criminal policy of Azerbaijan. I would like to assure you that the RA NA parliamentary delegations will do their utmost to defend the fair struggle of the Artsakh Armenians at all platforms. The international recognition of Artsakh is our prior problem,” the NA Deputy Speaker underlined.
