On November 9, the RA NA Speaker Galust Sahakyan received the newly appointed Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Armenia Nawaf Alenezi.

Welcoming the guest in the Armenian Parliament, Galust Sahakyan congratulated him on assuming the position and wished him successes during the implementation of the diplomatic mission. The Head of the Parliament expressed hope that during his diplomatic mission the Ambassador will do his utmost for further developing and deepening the friendly relations existing between the two countries in different spheres. In the context of mutually beneficial cooperation the NA Speaker highlighted the development of the inter-parliamentary cooperation and the active contacts of the Friendship Groups.

Galust Sahakyan expressed readiness also to support the implementation of the joint programmes of the parliaments of the two countries from now on.

Thanking the NA Speaker for the warm reception, the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Armenia Nawaf Alenezi assured that with his work he will promote the further expansion of already formed bilateral cooperation. He also emphasized the deepening of the inter-parliamentary cooperation and the cooperation of the Friendship Groups of the two countries.

The Ambassador gladly noted that the Armenian community in the State of Kuwait had a great role in the development of their state.

At the meeting the sides discussed issues concerning the programmes to be jointly implemented in future.
