On March 3, the delegation headed by the Speaker of the RF FA State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, being on an official visit in Yerevan, accompanied by the RA NA Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov, the Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Artak Zakaryan, the NA deputies Volodya Badalyan, Rubik Hakobyan, the RA Ambassador to the RF Oleg Yesayan, visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.

On behalf of the Russian parliament the Speaker of the RF FA State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin and the deputies of the RF FA State Duma laid a wreath at the monument of the Armenian Genocide victims, and put flowers at the eternal fire and in silence and bowing honoured the memory of Holy martyrs.

The Russian parliamentarians have been at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, got acquainted with the documents proving the Armenian Genocide and observed the exhibits.

The Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin noted: “If we remember and don’t forget what happened in 1915, if we remember and don’t forget what happened in 1941, then the genocides will not be repeated.”
