On October 15, in Saint Petersburg the RA NA Speaker Ara Babloyan met with the Speaker of the National Assembly of the State of Kuwait Marzouq Ali al-Ghanim.

The RA NA Speaker has underlined that the development of multi-character relations with the Arab world is one of the prior directions of Armenia’s foreign policy. The sides have documented that during the last years the political dialogue has considerably activated between the two countries, which is a firm basis and guarantee for the development and strengthening of the inter-state relations in different spheres.

The heads of the legislative bodies of the two states highlighted the necessity of deepening of the inter-parliamentary relations, the activities of the Parliamentary Friendship Groups and the effective cooperation on the international platforms.

The interlocutors also exchanged thoughts about the enlivening of the trade-economic relations and expressed hope that the existing potential would be effectively used.
