On October 16, the RA NA Speaker Ara Babloyan met with the Speaker of the National Council of the Republic of Slovakia Andrej Danko.

The interlocutors touched upon the sustainable development of the Armenian-Slovak relations, particularly, the inter-parliamentary cooperation. In terms of giving continuous character to that dialogue the activation of the mutual visits, the cooperation at the level of parliamentary committees and friendship groups was highlighted.

The heads of the parliaments of the two countries also talked about the recognition of the Armenian Genocide and the NK problem settlement.

The sides emphasized the effective cooperation of the Armenian and Slovak delegates in the issues of bilateral interests in the international and the regional organizations, as well as on the international parliamentary platforms.
