On October 18, in the RA Shirak Regional Administration the RA NA Standing Committee on territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment jointly with the State Food Safety Service (SFSS) of the RA Ministry of Agriculture held a working discussion on creation of slaughter network and slaughter capacity building programme.

The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Vardevan Grigoryan , the Deputy Chairman of the Committee Araik Hovhannisyan, the Committee members Vardan Ghukasyan, Nairi Sahakyan, the Head of Shirak Marz Artur Khachatryan, the Head of the SFSS of the RA Ministry of Agriculture Ishkhan Karapetyan and those responsible for the sphere, entities building slaughterhouses and owners of the functioning slaughter-houses and other concerned persons took part in the discussion.

Ishkhan Karapetyan presented the slaughter capacity building programme and noted the necessary legislative demands for this kind of activities.

After working discussion the Committee members took part in the opening of the SFSS Shirak Marz Centre building and laboratory.

Afterwards the Committee members accompanied by Ishkhan Karapetyan visited the slaughterhouse under construction in the outskirts of Talin of the RA Aragatsotn Marz. The Committee members took a tour in the territory of the slaughterhouse under construction and studied the conditions.
