Political Debate in National Assembly

As it was informed “Ardarutiun” (Justice) and “Azgayin Miabanutiun” (National Unity) factions applied to RA NA Speaker, presenting their recommendations pertaining to Constitutional reforms. Having the aim to clarify the viewpoints of all political forces submitted to the parliament on the matter and led by the Article 18 of the law “NA Rules of Procedure,” on February 3 NA Speaker Artur Baghdasaryan invited deliberations of the political forces in the parliament.


NA all factions (Torosyan Tigran – RPA, Mkrtchyan Levon – ARF, Shahgeldyan Mher, Balasanyan Samvel – OYe, Karapetyan Aleksan, Kostandyan Gagik, Arakelyan Koryun, Azizyan Napolyon – “Azgayin Miabanutiun”/National Unity, Ghonjeyan Grigor – MAK/ULP, Karapetyan Karen – “People’s Deputy” grouping), except “Ardarutiun”/Justice bloc participated at the deliberations.


During the deliberations each coalition member party presented its brief position and response in written statement. “People’s Deputy” grouping and ULP faction noted their considerations pertaining to Constitutional reforms.


During the deliberations the necessity of holding Constitutional reforms by possible wider consent was highlighted.
