On November 21, the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security moderated by Koryun Nahapetyan debated the RA draft law on Making Amendment and Addendum on Police which presented to the Committee members the RA Deputy Head of Police adjunct to RA Government Vardan Yeghiazaryan.

The First Deputy Minister of Defense Artak Zakaryan presented for the Committee members’ debate the draft law on Ratifying the Agreement on Support of Cooperation between the Republic of Armenia and NATO Maintenance and Supply Organization (NAMSO).

The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security Koryun Nahapetyan has underlined the importance of the draft law and has noted that it stems from the interests of Armenia to get rid of the armament non-subject for operation and military technique means. The draft law was endorsed.

The RA NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security approved the protocols of the results of the parliamentary hearings on the themes on New Legislative Regulations on Conscription and Military Service held on 11 October 2017 and The Development of the National Capabilities in the Sphere of Disaster Risk Governance held on 13 October 2017.
