At Sittings of RA NA Standing Committees

On January 11, sittings of the RA NA Standing Committees were held.

At the sitting moderated by Hrayr Tovmasyan the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights debated and endorsed a group of legislative initiatives which will be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the third session of the RA NA sixth convocation and the upcoming sittings.

The Deputy Chairman of the RA Investigative Committee Artur Ghambaryan presented for debate of the Committee the draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Law on Police.

The RA First Deputy Minister of Justice Artur Hovhannisyan presented for debate the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Combating Terrorism.

The Committee also endorsed the draft laws on Amending the RA Code on Administrative Infringements and on Making Addendum to the RA Law on the RA Investigative Committee.

The Committee in the second reading debated and endorsed the draft laws on Making Addenda to the RA Land Code, on Amending the RA Civil Procedure Code, on Constitutional Court, on the RA Criminal Procedure Code, as well as on Amending the RA Civil Code with the enclosed legislative packages.

The Committee also endorsed the draft laws on Making Addendum to the RA Criminal Code, on Amending the laws on State and Office Secret, on Registration of the Guaranteed Rights towards the Moveable Property and on Rescue Forces and Rescue's Status.

On the same day at the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations moderated by Armen Ashotyan the draft law on Ratifying the Agreement on the Citizens' Mutual Visits between the RA Government and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was debated. The RA Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan presented the draft law.

The debated draft law with the endorsement of the Committee will be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the third session of the NA sixth convocation and the upcoming regular sittings.

The Committee member Rustam Makhmudyan and the Committee Chairman Armen Ashotyan presented the RA NA Draft Statement on Condemnation of the Genocidal Actions towards the Yezidis in the Territories of the Republic of Iraq being under the Control of Terrorist Groupings and it was endorsed after debate for being included in the draft law of the agenda of the third session of the RA NA sixth convocation.

The RA NA Standing Committee on European Integration moderated by Naira Zohrabyan debated presented the RA NA Draft Statement on Condemnation of the Genocidal Actions towards the Yezidis in the Territories of the Republic of Iraq being under the Control of Terrorist Groupings.

The Committee endorsed the draft law to be included in the agenda of the third session of the RA NA sixth convocation.

An extraordinary sitting was held in the RA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs moderated by Khosrov Harutyunyan. The draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Tax Code was debated in the first reading.

The RA Deputy Minister Davit Ananyan has noted that the Government proposes to invest agricultural insurance system.

At the sitting the RA First Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Gagik Grigoryan also presented the legislative package on Amending the RA Law on Automobile Transport and on Amending the Code on the RA Administrative Infringements.

The legislative package on Amending the RA Law on Games of Chance, Games on Internet and Casinos, on Amending the RA Law on Draws was presented for debate in the first reading. The Chairman of the State Nuclear Safety Regulatory Committee adjunct to the RA Government Ashot Martirosyan presented the draft law on Amending the RA Law on the Safe Use of the Nuclear Energy for Peaceful Purposes and it was debated in the first reading.

The debated draft laws and the legislative packages with the endorsement of the Committee will be included in the draft laws of the agendas of the third session of the RA NA sixth convocation and the regular sittings.

The Committee debated in the second reading and endorsed the draft law on Approval of List of Goods Imported by Organization and Private Entrepreneurs, That are Not Subject to Excise Taxation and Their Import is Exempted of Value Added Tax.
