On October 18, the NA deputies Hermine Naghdalyan, Araik Hovhannisyan, the Head of the NA Staff Financial Department Artashes Bakhshyan took part in the works of the regional seminar concerning the sustainable development organized for the IPA CIS parliamentarians. The preparatory works of holding the seminar were debated in the IPA CIS Permanent Commissions. The initiating body of the event has been the Permanent Commission on Practices of State-Building and Local Government.

During the seminar the provisions of the IPA CIS sustainable development concept were presented in detail, as well as the parliamentarians’ role in that issue. Reports on the human rights, economic and ecological development were voiced. The NA Members presented their recommendations, interpellations on the issues under debate, as well as took part in the disputes.
