The deputies of the RF FA Federation Council and State Duma visited the RA National Assembly.

On April 27, the President of the RA National Assembly Ara Babloyan received the RF deputies.

On the same day the Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Armen Ashotyan and the Members of Committee met with the RF Federal Assembly State Duma Committee for CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Leonid Kalashnikov. The meeting of the Co-Chairs of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the RA National and the RF Federal Assembly Artashes Geghamyan and Nikolay Ryzhkov and the Committee members was also held.

On April 28, the representatives of the parliamentary factions also met with the deputies of the RF FA Federation Council and the State Duma.

During the two-day meetings issues concerning the progress of the Armenian-Russian ally relations, the further activities of the Committee on Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation and the upcoming programmes were discussed. The sides also touched upon the inner-political situation of Armenia, emphasized the settlement of the created situation within the framework of the Constitution and the laws for the benefit of the stability and security of the state and the people’s welfare.
