Co-Rapporteurs of PACE Monitoring Committee for Armenia Visit National Assembly

On May 23-25, co-rapporteurs of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Monitoring Committee for Armenia Yuliya Lovochkina and Giuseppe Galati with fact-finding visit.
On May 24, they have been hosted in the Parliament of Armenia and had separate meetings with the representatives of the RA NA ARF, Yelq/Way out, Tsarukyan and the RPA Factions.
During the meetings the sides touched upon issues regarding the recent political developments of Armenia, the implementation procedure of the reforms, protection of human rights. The parties also discussed issues relating to the amendment of the Electoral Code, the holding of the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Armenia and the priorities of the new government programme.
