On June 19, the members of France-Armenia Friendship Group of the French Parliament accompanied by the Head of the RA NA Armenia-France Friendship Group Armen Rustamyan visited Tsistsernakaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial Complex.
The French parliamentarians laid flowers bowing at the eternal fire honoured in silence the memory of the Holy Martyrs.
The guests had been at the Armenian Genocide Museum Institute, observed the exhibits proving the Armenian Genocide, got acquainted with the documents and left a note in the Book of Memorable Guests.
The Head of France-Armenia Friendship Group Jacques Marilossian, noting that he has Armenian roots, has said that he is very excited and impressed.
“However, we should not lose our hope and faith towards people which will let us preserve peace. Let us have love and friendship with all peoples,” the French parliamentarian added.
