Dear Colleagues,

Large-scale changes have taken place in Armenia since early May of this year . Armenian people showed that if they wished they could make changes. Now a days, radical reforms take place in all spheres of public life in our country.

Especially I would like to emphasize the real socio-economic changes which basis is the formation of free and fair competition relations.

Now there are objective preconditions that large investments can be made in the Republic of Armenia as the democratization process shows that there are clear guarantees for the protection of these investments.

Now adopting a number of laws related to tax and investment policy is in progress .

High technologies are developing at high rates in our country. In this area, annual growth is 20-25%. At the same time, on this basis the educational system and its management are being reformed.

The next important aspect is agriculture. The certification and standardization issues are being solved in this sphere.

This year a great number of tourists will arrive in Armenia. Yes, Armenia is an interesting and unique country and, first of all, with the intellect and hospitality of its people.

Dear Colleagues,

This year World La Francophon i e Summit will be held in Armenia in October. This is a very important event. We are ready to receive guests at a high level and not only on this occasion. Armenia is a country with open economy. I invite all the investors and friends of the Armenian people to our country.
