On September 20, the President of the RA National Assembly Ara Babloyan met with the President of the Parliament of Artsakh Republic Ashot Ghulyan.

Welcoming the guest, the Head of the legislative body of Armenia highly assessed the level of the cooperation existing between the parliaments of the two Armenian republics.

Ara Babloyan has assured that the issue of the peaceful settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict is always at the centre of attention of the RA National Assembly, and the parliamentarians defend the interests of Artsakh Republic and its people on the international all platforms.

Ashot Ghulyan thanked his colleague for the warm reception and effective cooperation.

The President of the Parliament of Artsakh Republic congratulated Ara Babloyan on the 100^th anniversary of the establishment of the Armenian Parliament.

The interlocutors discussed a number of issues relating to the parliamentary diplomacy, highlighted the continuous meetings at the level of the committees of the parliaments of Armenia and Artsakh and the joint sittings of the Inter-parliamentary Committee.
