Parliament Continues Debate of Draft Law on RA State Budget for 2019

On November 14, the RA National Assembly continued the debate of the RA draft law on the RA State Budget for 2019.

The RA Acting Minister of Agriculture Gegham Gevorgyan, the RA Acting Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Hakob Arshakyan, the RA Acting Minister of Nature Protection Erik Grigoryan, the RA Acting Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigran Khachatryan, the RA Acting Minister of Education and Science Arayik Harutyunyan and the RA NA deputies Spartak Seyranyan, Ruzanna Arakelyan, Vahe Enfiajyan, the RA NA Deputy Speakers Eduard Sharmazanov and Mikayel Melkumyan, the Head of the ARF Faction Armen Rustamyan and the Head of the RPA Faction Vahram Baghdasaryan expressed their viewpoints on the document.

In his final speech the Acting Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan has underlined that the concern towards the public interests in the raised issues.

The debate of the draft budget ended, at least 4 days of interval for debate of the draft law, and the deputies and the factions may present their recommendations within 24 hours.

The key speaker, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture Garnik Petrosyan presented the item on completely passing the draft law on Amending the RA Law on Bodies of State Administration System authored by the government.

The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee of Territorial Administration, Agriculture and Environment Vardevan Grigoryan noted that the draft law was debated in the second reading and was endorsed.

The MP Khosrov Harutyunyan expressed hope that the upcoming parliament, the government would touch upon the item.

The MPs Sergey Bagratyan, Vahe Enfiajyan, Alen Simonyan and Luiza Sargsyan delivered speeches on the legislative initiative.

At the last sitting, under the RA Constitutional law the NA Rules of Procedure, the members of the government answered the MPs’ questions.
