“I was deeply shocked to hear the bad news about the crash of the SU-25 attack plane and death of the military pilots, Lieutenant-Colonel Armen Babayan and Mayor Movses Manukyan.

I am sure that the revelation of the air disaster reasons will let us exclude the repetition of such tragedy in the future, and what happened will not touch upon the military spirit of the armed forces’ crew in any way.

At this moment of heavy loss I express my deepest condolence to the perished’ pilots’ families, I share their disconsolate grief and I wish them courage of spirit,” Ara Babloyan’s condolence message reads.
