Ararat Mirzoyan sent a letter of acknowledgment to the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Republic of Italy Roberto Fico. The letter of acknowledgement reads:

“Dear Mr President,

Let us express our deepest gratitude on behalf of the RA National Assembly and personally me to you for making a resolution on the recognition of the Armenian Genocide perpetrated in the Ottoman Empire.

I am sure that the step of the Chamber of Deputies will have its important contribution to the prevention of such crimes against mankind. The Chamber of Deputies once again assured its faithfulness to all-human high values to which adheres the people of Italy.
