On May 11, the delegation led by the Head of Austria-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group of the National Council of Austria Gudrun Kugler accompanied by the Head of the NA Armenia-Austria Friendship Group Viktor Yengibaryan visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.

The guests laid flowers at the eternal fire and honoured the memory of the Armenian Genocide Holy Martyrs. Afterwards the Austrian parliamentarians were in the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, got acquainted with the exhibits and left a note in the Book of Honourable Guests.

Underlining that Austria recognized the Armenian Genocide in 2015, Gudrun Kugler noted: “It is a tragedy that many countries of the world have not recognized the Armenian Genocide yet, we should fight for its recognition. It is unimaginable what has happened with the Armenian nation.”
