On June 1, on the occasion of International Day for Protection of Children in the National Assembly Park and in the part adjacent to Baghramyan Avenue a series of joyful and interesting events were organized for children of the capital and arrived from the marzes of the republic and Artsakh. The RA NA President Ararat Mirzoyan, deputies and the representatives of the NA Staff took part in there.

The festive event was flavoured with beloved characters of animation heroes and numerous game attractions. The theatrical groups showed episodes for different Armenian folk tales. An exhibition of children’s pictorial books was organized. The youth played volley ball, the kids pictured with chalks on the ground and brushes on the canvas their beautiful thoughts full of light and sun. The children listened to Armenian folk and modern different folk tales read by the MPs.

Different groups, the children and the schoolchildren showed their performing skills, knowledge from high technologies and different spheres.

Ararat Mirzoyan took a tour in the park, talked with the children, congratulated on the occasion of the festivity, wished them happy, peaceful childhood and youth. The Head of the parliament urged them to become full-fledged citizens of our country.

The NA President has noted that the love and attention towards children is special to the Armenian society and the family. According to Ararat Mirzoyan, however, there is a small number of families, where cases of violence have been registered. To his opinion, it is necessary to solve the problem due to educational, awareness and other modern events.

The Head of the parliament has been taken photos with all those who wished.

In the evening festive concert took place with the beloved male-female singers’ participation. The festive party continued until late in the evening.
