On July 4, the President of the RA National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan being in Cyprus on an official visit met with the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Cyprus Savvas Angelidis .
The parties reaffirmed the agreements reached in the military-technical and military-industrial sphere, as well as expressed readiness to take practical steps in bilateral, as well as multilateral formats.
Minister Angelidis presented to Ararat Mirzoyan the details of cooperation existing between the Defence Ministries of the two countries, indicated the perspectives, part which are already in the phase of implementation.
The Head of the parliament noted with satisfaction the high level of current cooperation in the defence and military spheres. The perspectives of multilateral formats in the sphere of regional security were discussed.
