On November 15, representatives of a number of Armenia’s educational institutions visited the RA National Assembly.

The deputy of the RA NA My Step Faction Gevorg Papoyan met with the students and lecturers of Yerevan Juridical-Economic and Administration College and conducted the Open Lesson.

During the meeting they exchanged ideas on the reforms of the educational system. The MP has touched upon the provision of the law on Higher Education and Science, which proposes to consider the subjects: Armenian Language, Armenian Literature and History of Armenia non compulsory in non professional faculties. He has noted that a working project is worked out, and it is at the phase of public discussion. Gevorg Papoyan underlined the necessity of the education quality rise and in that context emphasized the study of the European modern and leading experience.

The Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment Varazdat Karapetyan hosted the pupils and teachers of Sarukhan Community of Gegharkunik Marz. The MP talked about the next year budget of Armenia, noting that the Government envisaged increase of incomes and expenditures. Varazdat Karapetyan also touched upon the main provisions of the territorial development strategy.

The Deputy of the RA NA Prosperous Armenia Faction Sergey Bagratyan met with the representatives of the Political School of the Prosperous Armenia Faction. He answered to the various questions and highlighted the meetings in such format.

The guests had a cognitive tour to the National Assembly, observed the works of the regular sittings of the parliament and visited the NA Museum and Library.
