RA NA Vice President Lena Nazaryan Meets with Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa

On December 4, the RA NA Vice President Lena Nazaryan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Africa to Armenia Andre Johannes Groenewald.

Welcoming the Ambassador in the Parliament, Lena Nazaryan congratulated him on being appointed Ambassador to our country and wished him success in the implementation of the programmes planned during his mission.

Speaking about the development of the inter-parliamentary relations, the NA Vice President highlighted the significant contribution of the Friendship Groups in that matter and expressed hope that in the near future the Friendship Groups would be formed in the parliaments of the two countries.

The Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and noted that he would promote the expansion of the cooperation agenda and would spare no efforts to strengthen and develop relations between the two countries.

During the meeting both sides highlighted the elaboration and implementation of certain programmes of interaction and activation of mutual visits.

Issues related to the inter-parliamentary, economic relations, opportunities and ways of increasing the volume of commodity turnover between the two countries were discussed.
