On December 19, the extraordinary sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs moderated by Vladimir Vardanyan was held, during which the package of the RA draft laws on Making Addenda and Amendments to the RA Law on Local Referendum and on Making Addenda to the RA Law on Local Self-Government authored by the NA deputies Varazdat Karapetyan and Vahe Ghalumyan was debated in the second reading and endorsed. The key speaker Varazdat Karapetyan informed that during the period from the first to the second reading two amendments were made. An opportunity will be given to the heads of the communities with the second amendment to hold open hearings and to submit their results to the Government.
