On February 3, at the sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Diaspora, Youth and Sport moderated by Mkhitar Hayrapetyan there were debates, and a decision was made to hold parliamentary hearings on February 24 on the theme Legislative Reforms of Higher Education and Science Sphere .
Mkhitar Hayrapetyan noted that parliamentary hearings on the education sphere had been held: the draft law on Education would be the key topic during these debates. It had been sent to the Ministry of Justice, and according to the Committee Chair, numerous amendments had been designed.
The Deputy Chair of the Committee Hovhannes Hovhannisyan and the Committee Member Anna Kostanyan presented details to their colleagues on the three-day working visit of the Committee members to Tbilisi. It was informed that means from the state budget had not been spent for the visit.
