On February 24, at the regular sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration moderated by Mikayel Melkumyan the draft law on Ratifying the Agreement on the Transporting Goods along the Customs Borders of the Eurasian Economic Union and the People’s Republic of China and on Exchange of Information on the Transport Means Implementing International Transportation was debated and endorsed.

The key speaker the Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee Davit Ananyan informed that the Agreement was signed in Saint Petersburg on 6 June 2019.

According to Davit Ananyan, within the framework of the Agreement the sides will regularly carry out exchange of experience on the Transporting Goods along the Customs Borders of the Eurasian Economic Union and the People’s Republic of China Transport Means Implementing International Transportation by cars, railway, air and water transport means.

At the sitting the Sub-Committee on Cooperation with the Russian Federation Marzes Created adjunct to the RA NA Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration was renamed Sub-Committee on Cooperation with the Marzes/Regions of the Republic of Armenia and the EEU Member States’ Regions. Thus, the Sub-Committee expanded the format of its cooperation.
