On May 13, a group of female deputies of the RA NA three factions talked through video call with the U.S. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the RA Lynne Tracy and the USAID Armenia Mission Director Deborah Grieser.
The participants of the virtual meeting discussed the support of the U.S. Government in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic, as well as underlined the leader women’s important role in response of Armenia in that crisis.
The participants agreed to meet regularly in the near future for communicating and assisting together the women’s success in the political sphere of Armenia.
The National Democratic Institute (NDI) organized the meeting in the framework of the program Strengthening of Electoral Processes and Political Accountability (SEPPA).
