At June 11 sitting, the RA NA Inquiry Committee for Studying the legality validity and reliability of financial and other reports submitted to the bodies of executive power and adopted by them in the framework of investment programs in the area of industrial metal mining moderated by Sergey Bagratyan, summed up the works done from September 2019 until now.

As Sergey Bagratyan presented, during the financial period numerous issues concerning the industrial metal mining were debated, studies and surveys on the activities of a number of mines were made. According to him, the transparency and publicity of the Inquiry Committee’s activities were ensured.

The Ecologist-Lawyer Nazeli Vardanyan introduced to the Committee members the violations recorded in the system, touched upon the problems of the environment and the judicial processes concerning the sphere.

The MPs presented recommendations on the Inquiry Committee’s activities. The formats and the schedule of the further actions were specified.

The regular sitting of the Inquiry Committee will be held next week.
