On June 11, the regular sitting of the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs moderated by Vladimir Vardanyan was held, where the draft law on Making Addendum to the RA Criminal Code authored by the Government and the legislative package on Amending the RA Law on the Structure and Activities of the Government were debated and endorsed in the second reading.

Recommendations in written form on the draft laws were not presented during the period from the first to the second reading.

As the Deputy Head of the Cadastre Committee Davit Soghomonyan presented, the Committee in the first reading debated the draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the law on State Registration of the Rights towards Property.

An agreement was reached in the Committee to organize working debates on the item after passing it in the first reading. The Committee approved the bill. 

The bill on Making Addenda to the Law on Commercial Arbitration authored by the RA NA deputies Nazeli Baghdasaryan and Anna Karapetyan was debated in the first reading. The bill was endorsed.

The draft law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Administrative Procedure Code authored by the Government and the RA First Deputy Minister of Justice Rafik Grigoryan was debated.

The representatives of the judicial power expressed their opinion of the bill. They thanked the representative of the Government for such initiative.

The Committee endorsed the draft law, and it was proposed to organize the debate of the bill in the second reading after passing it in the first reading within 24 hours.

The draft law on Amending the Constitutional Law the RA Judicial Code authored by the RA NA deputies Artur Davtyan and Anna Karapetyan was debated.

The RA NA deputy Artur Davtyan, the RA First Deputy of Justice Rafik Grigoryan, the deputy of the RA NA Bright Armenia Faction Taron Simonyan and the RA NA deputy Nikolay Baghdasaryan expressed their opinions and made recommendations on the draft law.

The draft law ion Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Criminal Code authored by the RA NA Deputy Speaker Alen Simonyan, the deputy Nikolay Baghdasaryan was debated in the first reading.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan noted that all proposals presented by the Government were accepted, and the bill was revised. The Committee endorsed the draft law.

The debate of the draft law on Making Addenda to the RA Criminal Code was postponed for two months by the author’s proposal.

The bill on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Criminal Procedure Code authored by the RA NA deputies Nikolay Baghdasaryan, Sergey Atomyan proposed to make the notices via email.

The bill on Making Addendum to the RA Criminal Code authored by the RA NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan, the deputies of the NA My Step Faction Vladimir Vardanyan, Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, Arusyak Julhakyan, Sargis Khandanyan, Arsen Julfalakyan, Taguhi Ghazaryan and the Head of the Faction Lilit Makunts was debated in the first reading and endorsed.

The deputy Nazeli Baghdasaryan and the RA Deputy Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan welcomed the initiative. The RA Government did not present any recommendation on the bill.

The bill on Making Addenda to the RA Administrative Procedure Code authored by the deputies of My Step Faction Artur Davtyan, Vladimir Vardanyan, Anna Karapetyan.

The position of the Government on the initiative was positive.

The package of the bills on Amending the RA Criminal Procedure Code and on Amending the RA Law on Special Investigative Service authored by the RA Government was debated in the second reading and endorsed.

The debate of the bill on Making Addendum to the RA Criminal Procedure Code authored by the deputies of the RA NA My Step Faction Nikolay Baghdasaryan, Viktor Yengibaryan was postponed up to two months.
