At July 9 extraordinary sitting moderated by Babken Tunyan, the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs debated in the second reading the law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the law on the RA Lithosphere and the enclosed package of draft laws authored by the Government. The RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Lilia Shushanyan noted that after the first reading proposals in changing the content and editing were presented, and they were accepted.
The Committee Chair informed that the specialists of the sphere presented numerous concerns. They also voiced issues relating to the assessment of the mine reserves. Pointing out many problems in their speeches the MPs expressed their viewpoints on postponing the debate of the issue. By Babken Tunyan’s recommendation, the Committee members unanimously made a decision to remove the second reading of the package from 24-hour procedure for specifying and regulating a number of issues.
The law on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Automobile Roads and the enclosed package of draft laws submitted by the Government were debated in the second reading. The Head of Inspection Bodies’ Coordination Bureau of the Prime Minister’s Staff Artur Asoyan informed that as a result of joint debates all problems were solved and a fundamentally revised version was presented.
The Committee unanimously endorsed the package of draft laws.
