On July 16, the RA NA Vice President Vahe Enfiajyan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Armenia Igor Nazaruk, who completed his diplomatic mission in our country.
Vahe Enfiajyan underlined the historically formed friendly relations between Armenia and Belarus. He documented that in recent years rather effective work promoting the cooperation had been done. The NA Vice President highly assessed the Ambassador’s efforts in the development of the Armenian-Belarusian ties during his tenure.
Evaluating effective and constructive the cooperation in the legislative field and on the international platforms, the parties expressed hope that in autumn of this year the meeting of the Parliamentary Friendship Groups being envisaged in Belarus would have its contribution to the inter-parliamentary relations, as well as to the development of the cooperation in different spheres.
The interlocutors touched upon the provocative actions being carried out by Azerbaijan towards the Armenian-Azerbaijani border positions. Condemning such actions Vahe Enfiajyan emphasized the constructive position of Armenia’s colleagues on the CSTO.
In his turn the Ambassador added that all the conflicts should be solved through peaceful means, negotiations.
The sides exchanged ideas also on the fight against spreading coronavirus and preventive measures.
