On September 18, the Head of the RA NA My Step Faction Lilit Makunts and the deputies of the Faction Andranik Kocharyan and Ruben Rubinyan met with the deputies of the Democratic Party of Artsakh Faction of the Parliament of Artsakh Republic Davit Melkumyan and Gegham Stepanyan.

Welcoming the guests in the Parliament of Armenia, Lilit Makunts underlined the importance of cooperation in different spheres with the political forces of the newly elected Parliament of Artsakh in different spheres and necessity of forming a united working agenda.

The Head of the Faction has also considered important the non-official meetings of the two countries’ parliamentarians, during which diverse issues become a subject of discussion.

The deputy of the National Assembly of Artsakh Republic Davit Melkumyan talked about the problems facing the youth of Artsakh, stressed the importance of creating favourable conditions for studying and work.

The deputy of the same Faction Gegham Stepanyan referred to the higher educational institutional system of Artsakh and emphasized the involvement of qualified specialists in teaching in the higher educational institution.

The RA NA deputy Andranik Kocharyan has considered as an important achievement the fact that today most of the young people want to fulfill their military duty in Artsakh Republic, which, according to him, is also a solution of security problem.

At the meeting numerous other issues were also touched upon.
