On January 27, the RA NA Vice President Vahe Enfiajyan met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the RA Alexander Konyuk.

Welcoming the Ambassador, the NA Deputy Speaker congratulated him on being appointed in the responsible post and expressed hope that with the effective and fruitful activities Alexander Konyuk would give new breathing to the parliamentary relations.

Vahe Enfiajyan underlined that during the last years rather productive work had been done promoting the cooperation. In this context, the NA Vice President highly assessed the efforts made by the former Ambassador Igor Nazaruk in the development of the Armenian-Belarusian ties. By Vahe Enfiajyan’s assessment, there is unused potential in a number of spheres.

The interlocutors touched upon the mutually beneficial cooperation on the international platforms, including in the EEU framework.

The Ambassador also highlighted the undertaking of the necessary steps in deepening of the Armenian-Belarusian relations, especially the effective use of the potential existing in the economic sphere.

The sides expressed readiness to make efforts for promoting the development of bilateral collabo ration and expressed hope that it would be possible to have tangible results in the near future.
