“325.608.555 AMD was transferred to Hayastan All Armenian Fund in the framework of the program COVID-19 Armenia: United Against the Pandemic from March 13 to August 27 of 2020, 154.8 mln of which – from private organizations. Our compatriots living abroad transferred 18.115.000 AMD and the funds operating in the Diaspora – 152.675.000 AMD,” the Chair of the NA Inquiry Committee for Examining the Circumstances of COVID-19 Arkadi Khachatryan stated during the sitting held on March 9.

A part of the financial means sent to the fund was directed to the purchase of medical supplies and equipment, to the financial support of the staff of the ambulance, to the monthly food supply to needy elderly people from Yerevan and the regions.

“The answers of the fund will be complete only after the annual report presenting by the Board of Trustees,” the Chair of the Board added.

The Ministry of ESCS and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the marz/region governor of Vayots Dzor and Yerevan Boarding School N1 answered to the questionnaire consisting of 251 questions of the Inquiry Committee.

According to the answer of the Ministry of ESCS, products for 1.926.000 AMD were bought in the previous year, and a service for 376.000 AMD was provided. Medical face masks, gloves, disinfectants and thermometers were purchased.

The Inquiry Committee still studies the extensive answer of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.

The Government and the Central Bank asked for a deadline for providing answers to the questionnaire.
