1 / 3

On March 29, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ara Aivazian answered to the deputies’ questions after presenting the Implementation on the Procedure and Results of the Government Programme for 2020 of the Republic of Armenia at the sitting of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations.

The deputy of My Step Faction Hovhannes Igityan, highlighting the role and active efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, noted that the civilized countries see that the unfair event took place towards Artsakh.

According to the RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ara Aivazian, after this aggression it was clarified for those countries and persons who wanted to understand what happened that the conflict of Nagorno Karabakh was not just a territorial dispute between Armenia and Artsakh: “It is the implementation of a new genocidal programme. Now, when different international organizations and countries witness how they completely expel the Armenians in the areas under the control of Azerbaijan, how they eliminate our historical and cultural heritage, how they inhumanly treat the Armenian captives, their conviction that Artsakh cannot be part of Azerbaijan is gradually matured. If it will be part of Azerbaijan, then it means Arstakh without Armenians. Our fight is for this. And I think that the reality is gradually fixed by the international community,” the Minister said.
