Pupils Given Unique Opportunity to be Present in Debate on Implementation of Procedure and Results of RA Government Programme for 2020
1 / 72

Viktoria studies in the 8th grade at the Armenian-Chinese Friendship School Foundation. She has a dream to become a prime minister. And she announced about it from the first tribune of the country in the National Assembly. Viktoria hopes that she will become the first woman Prime Minister of Armenia.

Viktoria’s classmate Gor does not want to become a prime minister. He has other ideas about his future.

Viktoria and Gor had different desires for the future, however they and their other classmates had one common goal: to be inside one of the main buildings of Armenia. Their dream came true.

On April 14, the guests of the parliament were pupils and teachers of the Armenian-Chinese Friendship School Foundation in the framework of the Open Lesson Programme.

The pupils followed the process of the sitting from the box of the NA hall: Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan presented the implementation of the Government Programme at the tribune. By the way, it happens twice a year.

The RA NA Deputies of My Step Faction Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Viktor Yengibaryan and Hakob Aslanyan talked with children.

In the deputies’ opinion, the children are on the right way, choosing that school.

Later, the Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan and the Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan did not miss the opportunity to talk with the children in the NA Session Hall.

Getting lost in the corridors of the parliament, they finally found the way to the NA Museum. There they got acquainted with the displayed souvenirs. Seeing their variety, the children were especially interested in the fact which countries donated the most. So, the activity of the inter-parliamentary relations became clear to them, too.

On the same day, pupils and teachers of Mesrop Mashtots’ School of the Oshakan village in Aragatsotn Province visited the parliament.

They also got familiarized with the history of the legislative body, visiting the museum and the library. There one of the founders of the National Library Week Fatma Khachatryan, who is the NA librarian for many years, presented the infinite world of their books.

The RA NA Deputies of My Step Faction Viktor Yengibaryan and Sergey Movsisyan met with the children in the library.

After the talk, the children were in the box of the NA Session Hall where the Government members and NA deputies greeted with applause the children. The pupils followed the Q & A of the Government, inspired by which Mane from Oshakan village announced that she decided to become a deputy just at that moment.
