Parliament 1918-1920: Transition of Divided Armenia into United Armenia

The Government of the First Republic announced about the unification of the divided Armenian provinces, declaring itself executive body of United Armenia.

“To restore the wholeness of Armenia and to ensure the people’s full-fledged freedom and prosperity the Government of Armenia, in accordance with the entire Armenian people’s unanimous will and wish announces that from today the divided parts of Armenia are united as an independent state union.

… Now, in Transcaucasia and in the Ottoman Empire carrying out this independence act of unification of the Armenian countries, the Government of Armenia announces that the state form of United Armenia is Ramkavar Republic, and it is the Government of the United Republic of Armenia.”
