On July 23, the RA NA deputy Rustam Bakoyan met with the representatives of the NGO Yazidi Global Organization of Germany Petra Scharnhorst and Coknez Güler.

The guests told him that they had got acquainted with the existing problems in a number of Yazidi communities. They were especially concerned about the issue of the education and early marriage of the female gender representatives.

The representatives of the NGO functioning in Germany have also recorded that there are road and infrastructure problems in the Yazidi communities.

According to Rustam Bakoyan, the above mentioned problems are at the centre of attention of the Government, and they will be solved in the near future.

The representatives of the Yazidi community of Armenia received an invitation to leave for Germany on a cognitive visit. The guests also expressed readiness to implement joint educational and cultural projects.

The representatives of the NGO Yazidi Global Organization of Germany are in Armenia for the first time. They were hosted at the invitation of Shams Humanitarian NGO.
