On August 25, during the briefing with the journalists the Speaker of the National Assembly Alen Simonyan strictly condemned what happened in the NA Session Hall, stressing that the violence is unacceptable and has no justification.

According to the NA Speaker, in case of repetition of similar incidents in the Session Hall the issue of expelling the journalists from the box designed for them is under discussion, and more probably is under review.

At the same time, he drew the attention of the journalists to the fact that in the international practice in such cases they usually change the shot, respecting the persons’ dignity and good reputation.

Concluding his speech, Alen Simonyan has noted that the most important thing is to avoid the repetition of the cases.

The Speaker of the National Assembly answered to the journalists’ questions, where the key issue was mainly considered the events happened in the Session Hall of the National Assembly on August 24 and 25.
