At September 13 NA sitting, during the debate of the report on the activities of the RA Central Electoral Commission (CEC), the NA President Alen Simonyan gave an extraordinary speech.
Referring to the opposition deputies’ speeches, the NA President has noticed that the representatives of With Honor Faction try to create the impression that the previous elections have not been falsified, while the society has been sure, that they have been falsified.
The NA President announced that all elections in the RA from 1996 to 2008 were falsified and held with big violations. According to Alen Simonyan, perhaps the example of the Unity alliance headed by Vazgen Sargsyan and Karen Demirchyan in 1999 might be an exception, which had great sympathy by the society.
